Kristine Batty, PhD., APRN, BC-ADM, CDCES

Kristine Batty is a Nurse Practitioner who has specialized in diabetes care for two decades. The foundation of her career is based on her belief that, when given comprehensive medical care, education and support, all people with diabetes can live a long and healthy life without limitations from diabetes. She is certified in Advanced Diabetes Management and as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Kristine has expertise in inpatient and outpatient diabetes care and owned an award-winning comprehensive diabetes care practice. In her faculty roles she has provided Nurse Practitioner students both knowledge and experience in diabetes care excellence.   She has been published in several journals and has presented at conferences internationally on diabetes related research and care advancement.

Kristine has served on the ADCES Technology Committee, Professional Practice Committee, Technology Conference Planning Committee, as an ADCES Spokesperson and is on the board of ADCES Maryland Coordinating Body. Kristine is the recipient of the ADCES 2023 Donna Tomky Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice.
